Eviction Notice

As a result of the United States Supreme Court opinion, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention moratorium on eviction is no longer in effect. This change took effect August 26, 2021. If you need help paying your rent, Massachusetts has the Emergency Housing Payment Assistance Program. To be eligible for this program, your inability to pay your rent must be related to COVID-19. Landlords can also apply for these funds on behalf of tenants. You will need to have the following documentation: head of household ID, proof of current housing, verification of housing crisis and verification of income.

Don’t wait to apply if you need assistance!
