Requirements:
• Must have or obtain a working knowledge of employment laws for teenagers and adults;
• Must have or obtain a working knowledge of disability-related employment laws;
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Must be able to teach lessons to individuals and groups both in person and online through Zoom or other appropriate technology;
• Must be able to complete required reports and consumer documentation in a timely and satisfactory manner;
• Must have the knowledge and ability to communicate through a variety of technological, age-appropriate platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Snap Chat, as well as working on iPhones, iPads, etc.;
• Must have a working knowledge of basic computer programs such as MS Word and the ability to learn data entry on the organization’s database software;
• Must be able to speak in front of groups of people;
• Must be able to work with diverse populations with varied skill levels;
• Must be able to travel across the Cape and to the Islands;
• Must be able to travel occasionally off Cape;
• Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality; and
• Must work occasional nights and weekends to accommodate student schedules.
